London Pro-Bono Accountants (Network with top advisers).

Pro Bono Accountants are here, where quality is not compromised! We aim to introduce pro-Bono accounting work to start-up businesses and a reduced rate fee to charities and small businesses. Start ups includes entrepreneurs who are thinking of starting or are in their first year of business.

At London Pro-Bono Accountants (LPBA), we put small and medium enterprises (SMEs) first, recognizing their role as vital wealth-creators, as employers to more than half of the UK’s private sector workforce and as the power behind vibrant urban and rural communities. We hold the interests of entrepreneurs and business start-ups in equal regard.

We are proud of our unique relationship with our members, who predominantly come from a SME/ Entrepreneurial background and linking them with small to medium size accountancy practices (SMP). As a professional nonprofits networking organization, we aim to provide the very best support and guidance to our members who operate within this arena, frequently tailoring services and recommendations to meet the unique challenges and trading relationships associated with smaller business and start-ups.

It is our aim to continuously meet the needs of SMEs within the UK and throughout the international market. The LPBA offer a range of services and benefits that have been specifically considered as part our focus on supporting our members within business start-ups and SME sector. More than just a just a business networking body, the LPBA is a one-stop-shop for start-ups and entrepreneurs.

It pays to seek advice from a trusted, professionally qualified source. If you’re an entrepreneur, business-owner or about to start your own business, our team of advisers will use their finance know-how to help you:

Grow your business, at home and overseas

Identify and capitalise on revenue streams

Reduce overheads and long-term costs

Manage and mitigate risk

Create strategic succession plans

No matter the economic climate, at LPBA we have confidence in our network of professional qualified advisers. In particular, our members rely on our Accountants’ sound grasp of financial management to help them stay in business and gain a competitive edge.

By appointing our team of advisers to handle your financial accounting affairs, you need no longer let bookkeeping, VAT returns, business regulations and reporting standards distract you from starting a business or growing your core business.

Most of our meetings will be held at Chartered Accountants’ Hall – a beautiful Grade II listed building in the heart of the City of London.

Our advisor works near this area and are willing to provide pro bono or reduced rate fees for selected clienteles. However the cost of facilities such as meeting rooms and hospitality services is £45 per delegate and we will pass these charges to the client. We choose this venue specifically because only qualified Accountants who are members can access you in.

A reduced rate starts from £49 per hour plus facility fee depending on the accountants you will be working with. The normal fee is reduced by 25% to 75%.

The good news is as we grow our members and get more sponsorship, we can further reduce some of the costs associated with bringing this collaboration work.

We will be running regular session on:

Ask an Accountant – one to one session with an accountant for 45minutes where you can have an informal discuss on issues that concern you.

Start-up workshops – Group workshop and network with serious people who want to start a business. Up to 8 people will be attending a 3 hours start-up course delivered by one of our Accountants.

Business workshops – this is 3 hours workshop dealing with running a business

High profile network dinner – delegates will be dinning with special guest speaker and presentation on the evening.

So please join the group and together we will create a successful community of thriving businesses.

Membership to the group are free, however, we have optional membership fee of £14 per month. For those who pay optional membership fee, they will receive tailored newsletter or article relating to their industry, which is crucial in maintaining competitive edge in their market. If you choice to pay your optional membership fee 6 month in advance of £94, you get a free 2 hours business health check with one of our accountants.
