I have arranged for LOTNA to take a tour of BBC Television Centre on June 12, 2010. The tour will be professionally guided and are advertised as lasting between two to two and a half hours long. It should be a lot of fun to get a glimpse behind the scenes! We will also get some time in the BBC gift shop.

Due to the potential size of our group, we have had to book two tour slots. They will be starting at 10:30 and 10:45 am. If we end up not having enough people interested to fill up the one tour, I will select the first tour time for the singular group. So, I suggest at 10 am meet up for everybody.

We have obtained a group discount which means that the tour will only cost £8.50. This can be given to me on the day BUT I need to know if you intend to go by May 1st as I have to pay for the tour on that date.

We Have 30 spots total for this. So, when the Meetup RSVPS get to 25 or we get to 30 including Meetup Members and others then I will close this to new RSVPS.

Anyway, the details:

- June 12th

Times:

- 10:30 and 10:45 tour start dates for tours lasting 2 to 2 1/2 hours in length. I suggest a 10am meet so we can get ourselves together, checked in, etc.

Cost:

- since there are so many of us we get a discount and it is £8.50 per person.

Misc stuff:

- Cameras are allowed but we have to wait for the tour guides to say we are somewhere we are allowed to take photos.

- They are aware there may be a guide dog in our group and are more than willing to accommodate.

They didn't make me pay when I booked but I will have to do it within four weeks of the tour. Apparently, they are sending me the booking information in the post.
