In case that's not clear - I mean 3 or 4 pages with DIFFERENT First Lines written on them! I'd be interested to see what other people make of the 1st line of my novel and some of my favourite stories as well.

Hi again! I have an idea for games/exercises for the Writer's Group - the people attending should be asked to bring 3 or 4 sheets of paper with the first line (not the title) of a science fiction story written at the top - the pages are passed around so everyone has an equal share of other pages - then they go off and write Page One of that story! It could be a personal favourite but it shouldn't be well-known, and for best effect we should include line one of our OWN story/ies. Interesting?

I regularly visit London and thought of joining this meet up group. This time, I am leaving on 24th July. It would be nice if there is a meet up before then, but if not, definitly next time!
