Behaviour Driven Development with SpecFlow

The challenge of a software development team is to take an idea, make it real and deliver a benefit. Specification By Example is a collaborative approach to defining requirements and business-oriented functional tests for software products based on capturing and illustrating requirements using realistic examples instead of abstract statements.

There are a few tools and models in use out there to achieve this. Broadly, they can be classified as Acceptance testing centric model (ATDD), System behaviour centric model (BDD), and Documentation centric model. In this session we will do a deep dive into BDD using SpecFlow. SpecFlow is an open source plug in for Visual Studio, but the concepts and techniques discussed in this talk equally apply across all BDD tools that use the Gherkin syntax. More on Gherkin during the talk...

Some useful tips. Would have enjoyed a wider discussion about the process of using BDD within a sprint cycle, but this is probably a discussion for a round table forum.

I believe we have the larger room. If you were on the waiting list and are now confirmed, please make sure you sign up at skills matter site as well.

Hi, is there a way to increase the number of attendees for this session as it looks to be quite an interesting one and couple of members of my team would like to attend (but there's an already packed waiting list)?

Am I able to +1 on this meetup?

I'm an experienced PM, but a fledgling in Agile and I want to know more and start putting it into practice. Sounds like this meet up could be a good starting point.
