Yoga, Meditation & Deep Relaxation XMAS SPECIAL! (+ social) suits all!

Hi guys in this Christmas special class we will be including a special ceremony to mark the upcoming solstice, symbolically letting go of what we no longer need from the past year and welcoming in our dreams and visions for 2014! We are fast approaching the time where the light starts to increase again and we subtly begin to move from a time where are body mind and spirit are in a process of letting go (as the light has been declining) and we will begin to grow again much like nature starts to grow around us. 

This is often the time of year where we actually start to germinate ideas 'under the surface' much like plant life starts to grow under the surface of the Earth during the Winter before launching into growth in the Spring. The same processes are at work in your psyche at the this time of year, you are assessing the year past and building intentions and visions for the year ahead. And then we go and hang out at the pub :-) i would love anyone who has felt connected to my work and classes to come for this special year end class and will make for a great social too.

The other prevalent dynamic at this time of year is the sense of low mood we can sometimes feel as we begin to draw inwards - introversion (yin) is natural to a degree at this time of year, but you still need the spark and flame of healthy human contact to keep the inner pilot light burning! - or else we can then start to feel 'depressed'. So since the heady days of extroversion (yang) in summer have now naturally past, come and have some slightly more peaceful but nourishing contact at the class and pub social that follows!    

In this class we slow down the processes of the body and nervous system, so you go way beyond your 'normal' state of relaxation, allowing the body to rest and replenish much more deeply and nervous system and hormones to re-balance.

So come and give your body and mind some quality rest and nourishment on a Tuesday evening!

Having done yoga first, it makes socialising and connecting with those around you much easier as you the yoga I teach amplifies your feel good hormones and Heart energy!

The Albany club is in a converted church off Albany St - Walk down Albany St (which is opposite Great Portland St tube station) and take the 3rd right turn - the turning after the police station and where you see Cape of Good Hope Pub and the Albany is behind there. Sat Nav is NW1 4EE


Class is 7.30 until 9.00

Cost: Drop in £10, £9 concession (low income / student) or Special Offer on your first visit: 4 classes for £30 / £26 concession
