Originally from East Yorkshire, Ian is now based in London having graduated from Goldsmiths in 2010. His 2011 and 2012 Edinburgh Fringe shows with Rob Beckett and Tom Toal respectively received critical acclaim and were regularly voted amongst the top free Fringe shows of the festival. 2013 then saw him deliver his hotly anticipated debut solo hour 'Anything' to sell-out audiences and a plethora of 4* and 5* reviews.
Alongside his burgeoning stand-up career, Ian has worked on various TV projects including a regular role in BBC 2 series 'Popatron', Kay Mellor's BBC 1 Drama 'The Syndicate' and critically acclaimed series 'White Heat', also on BBC 1. Nicky Wilkinson is an actress, stand-up comedian, improviser and sketch performer.
Having made her first forays into stand-up comedy as a resident compere at the award-winning Funny Side Comedy clubs, she's now gigging all over the country as an act in her own right.
A bright and quick-witted Hullonian, her warm, likeable, down-to-earth style instantly puts audiences at ease; as ready and eager to laugh as they would be sharing a great joke with a friend. Her comedy mixes charming, real-life anecdotes with just the right dose of self-deprecation and often brilliantly funny improvised riffs with the crowd.
Nicky's impressive stage presence, great comic timing and considerable comedy performance experience are ensuring she's moving quickly through the stand-up comedy ranks, definitely making her one to watch!
In addition to her solo work, she's also one half of comedy double-act Wilkinson Ford which performed its debut show 'The Gherkin Fantasies' in 2011 Edinburgh Festival and is currently contributing to a BBC comedy pilot.
Evelyn Mok is a celebrated Swedish stand-up. She was crowned One to Watch at the 2012 Swedish Stand-Up Gala and in 2013 placed as a Finalist in the Chortle Student Comedy Awards, the Piccadilly Comedy Club’s New Act of the Year Awards and was Runner Up in Up the Creek’s One to Watch Awards. In August she was selected for Just the Tonic’s highly respected Big Value Showcase at the 2013 Edinburgh Fringe.
