!!!The Time Is NOW!!!
Hello Dean, thank you for joining our group and we look forward to meeting you at our next meeting on Wednesday October 16th in Covent Garden. The meeting starts at 7.00pm but there will be someone there from 6.45 onwards. The address is as detailed in the meeting schedule, but if you have any questions about finding us please feel free to ask.
Hi Dean, If you choose reason over superstition, like debates, eminent speakers (& cordial socials!), from philosophy & science to social issues, you might consider UK meetup’s BUSIEST webforum, & events group. London Atheist Activist Group; warm & constructive community of 400ish growing fast - promoting & celebrating not just atheism, despite the name, but reason as a whole (both serious discussions and at times unashamed levity!). A warm welcome awaits :-) Link: Tinyurl.com/LAAGers.
Hi Dean. Thanks for joining the group. Have you been to any of the J.K meetups? I went to a couple a few years ago. The man who inspired me to start this group wrote a paper on JK's holistic approach to education and included a workshop which I hope to borrow elements from in the meetup.
Hope to see you at the first event. If you know of any venues for hire in central or north London let me know.
hope all is well with you. This is the link I mentioned to Jetsuna Tenzin Palmo's talk on meditation. It's rather long, I'm afraid - but if you get the time to listen through, hopefully interesting and illuminating!
All the best,
A very warm welcome to the group, very much looking forward to meeting you. We’ve got some brilliant topics coming up. Hope you can make it to our first meeting in January 2013. Warmest wishes, Cathy.
