Some Tarot readers use reversed cards and some don't... what do you choose to do? Or do you use reverse cards in some situations, or with certain decks, or spreads? Whatever your practice, let's share thoughts about our reasons for choosing as we do, and consider the pros and cons of each method.
If you use reverse cards when reading for others, how do you ensure that the querent is "selecting" which cards are upside down, rather than the cards remaining as they were for the previous reading? How do you decide in which way the upright meaning is changed? How much does our method of reading, whether intuitive, or based on symbology, astrology or other systems, affect our choices and the ease with which we might incorporate reversed cards into our readings?
This meetup is suitable for all levels of Tarot readers and I believe could be just as useful to a relative beginner as an experienced reader. Please bring a deck along as we may wish to explore some aspects of the question by experimenting with the cards!
The main discussion will begin about 7.15pm and last for as long as people are interested in the topic but after that there will be time for chat and practice reading among those who wish to do so. Please note that the venue is a pub, we do not have a separate room, and therefore a certain level of noise is normal and to be expected. It is sometimes necessary to chat in small groups rather than all together!

I've managed to reserve space for this Meet-up so hopefully we'll have a nice big table near the back of the pub. There will be signs on the table!
