...everyone to the university to the left of Greenwich (about 5 miles left).
*Places go live at 7pm Thursday 26th June.
We're going back to LUUG's old stomping grounds, London South Bank University for our 30th LUUG (Thanks to Siobhan Thomas). Our first speaker is Dan Goodayle from Just A Pixel. As many of you know Dan and Roberta have been hard at work on Light, but Dan is taking time out to give a talk on creating procedural worlds within Unity3d, tips and tricked he's learnt along the way to making a prototype at Just a Pixel.
Our second speaker of the evening is Tom Matcham founder of coAdjoint, a startup producing tools to help developers create dynamic, personalised games and educational software.
Tom has made two pieces of software to achieve this: Action and Orbit.
Action is a skill modelling solution, allowing designers to model the complex relationships between a network of skills. Orbit is adaptive AI software, allowing a designer to train AI to change their behaviour based on the play style of a user. All coAdjoint software is available as editor extensions for Unity.'
We're already lining up some great speakers for August and September, but still need more.
Last month we had an excellent student project demonstrated by Elijah Flanders from the University of Greenwich. If you didn't get to see it and have and Oculus Rift you can download it from http://bit.ly/1hk1xwB
To continue this exposure for new talent, we're going to have "Student Spotlight" and this month we have Anton Korubov from London South Bank University presenting his work.
We'll have the usual Open Mic slots and a TBA pub for afterwards.
