"Jack The Ripper FrIGhT NiGht + Indian Meal in Brick Lane"

Have YOU got the stomach for this?!

I invite you to join us on this special and unique event that combines the deadly story of the world's most infamous serial killer with an after FriGHt NiGht meal in a top Indian restaurant in London's famous Brick Lane..... a place where The Ripper himself struck!

Starting on Whitechapel High Street we will plot the route of the murders, visiting crime scenes, looking at original crime scene and mortuary photographs and trying to solve the mystery of who Jack The Ripper was.  We cover the stories and murders of 7 victims and explore the police investigation and 10 of the prime suspects.

As your host and resident Ripper and East End expert I will guide you through the back streets of Whitechapel and Spitalfields and recite the chilling story of the murders that took place back in 1888.

To assist me in our pursuit of the killer and to scare you (just a little bit, maybe a lot!) I will deploy my deadly sound effects machine. We will not only learn about The Ripper and his dastardly deeds but also about the background to how his unfortunate victims arrived in the East End and about the history of the area itself.  Prepare yourself for some amazing, spooky, quirky and eye opening facts about London in 1888. I also dress as The Ripper for extra authenticity and use a mini microphone so that we can all clearly hear the commentary.

Reviews of the tour are here on Trip Advisor (click back button to return to this page)

Awaiting us at 8.15 pm at the end of the tour will be a fine Indian Banquet in Papadoms an award winning Indian restaurant in London's vibrant and trendy Brick Lane. (click back button to return to this page)

We will have a large selection of dishes: Papadoms, Starters, Mains, Sides and Vegetarian options that we can feast upon whilst finalising our theories as to who The Ripper was.  The banquet will be served in the exclusive lofted gallery area of the restaurant which we have specially reserved for this event. (if you have any special dietary requirements or would like English style food please let me know and the restaurant can cater for this)

This is going to be a fantastic event of intrigue, terror and then fine dining and socialising.  A truly memorable experience at a very affordable price.

£14.95 is an inclusive price for The Ripper tour followed by the Indian Banquet. (drinks are not included)

The tour finishes 2 minutes walk from the restaurant which in turn is 8 minutes walk from Liverpool Street station and 5 minutes walk from Aldgate East and Whitechapel stations.  Cliff your host is an experienced guide and expert on The Jack The Ripper murders and the East End and is a native East Ender himself.

Weather is going to be positively tropical tonight! 13 degrees. So I won't be wearing a Ripper hat and coat but will instead will be wearing clothing from The Ripper smart casual range! But I will still have my FriGHt NiGht sign with me. Those lucky people at tonight's event will also be benefiting from a brand new Murder Navigation Map so will be able to see at any given point exactly where they are standing in relation to a crime scene and whether the street we are in was a criminal rookery or a better off area.

    Hi everyone,

This event is still going ahead even with a small group. I am sure that we are all going to really enjoy this. For those of you familiar with Brick Lane's restaurants I can tell you that the restaurant we are booked into at the end of the tour is a very smart one, it is not one of the lower end run down restaurants of which there are a few in Brick Lane. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and to a great evening out. See you on Tuesday.
