I am a director of a digital marketing agency - Sharp Ahead - specialising in B2B. I use web analytics to measure and optimise marketing campaigns for our clients - usually around lead generation and lead nurturing for low volume/high value, complex products and services. I founded and used to work for a specialist vendor (Site Intelligence/iJento) with its own SQL-based web analytics tools and also use Google Analytics from time to time. My favourite projects involve "proper data science" typically on raw behaviour data - for example segmentation, clustering, predictive models.
