dance in Soho to the Alex Mendham Orchestra

The Floridita will be hosting another evening of the 11 piece 1930s style dance orchestra of Alex Mendham. The dance floor is on the small side, but as few of the punters dance, it's OK, and one can get around the floor to quicksteps , foxtrots and the odd waltz if one seizes the chances. Tickets for the bar are cheap at £11 available on line from the web site below.

Alex's orchestra  will play from 9.30 pm to midnight. There's a support band called The Four Brothers Jazz who will play from 7.15 pm to 9.15 pm.

Teh place is a dinner/dance cocktail bar type place and one can get reasonable food at a not outrageous price and sit down at a table with a tablecloth and get waitress service

There are a small number of formally dressed swing and ballroom dancers who regularly go to this this event, who usually hang around the bar area, which makes it a bit more glamorous and fun.

Drinks aren't cheap but one can buy beer at about £5.

Good lively performance from the band and a few good dancers, The dance floor is very samll which is shame. The margaritas are reasonably well made, for London.
