CoinScrum {Workshop} - Tuesday 20th May : 4-8pm

This is our weekly get together for new comers to come and ask questions and for regulars to network/chat and help the newer members find their bitcoin feet.

Are you new to Bitcoin and other digital currencies? Are you a little unsure as to where you should start or just a little nervous about choosing the correct wallet to use or the best method of acquiring your first coins? Would you rather someone else showed you that paper wallets really aren't that scary or that creating and using  your own cold-storage wallet isn't actually that hard?

Well, help is at hand!

With our walk-in workshops you can just pop by and find some friendly faces to whom you can ask all the questions may have.

Sponsored by our friends at Cointrader.net (the guys behind the long established Bitcoiniacs outlet in Vancouver and now joining forces with our own quickbitcoin.co.uk here in the UK), their team and CoinScrum members will be ready and waiting to show you the ropes and will even let you loose on their newly installed Bitcoin ATM at The Vape Lab.

Doors open at 4pm but you can stroll in whenever suits to either learn some more or just have some general chit-chat with like-minded enthusiasts. Knowing our members well, many will likely continue the conversation in the pub next door once the Vape Lab closes at 8pm:)

Tuesday 13th May - 4-8pm @ The Vape Lab, 232 Shoreditch High Street, London, E1 6PJ (2 mins from Liverpool Street or Shoreditch stations)

It was great to buy a latte and a pastry using bitcoin purchased from the easy to use bitcoin ATM all within the Vape Lab E-Cigarette and Coffee shop. As well as hang out with everyone at the CoinScrum last Tuesday.

Excellent. I got information I could never have found on line by myself.

Anyone mind if I talk for five minutes about Votecoin at this? I'm looking for devs for a P2P anonymous voting system forked from Bitcoin.

Looks like I'll be working late, hopefully I'll make it another time!

The basic concept is here: https://bitcointalk.or...

The next steps are to code two coins on one blockchain with reversible transactions for one of them.

The aim is to test unconscious learning as a reliable method of anonymous verification.

So, who's attending? It would be nice if we can sit outside... (if it's not raining or something).
