January Meet and Greet

Hello Everyone and Happy New Year,

London Black professionals is having a their monthly meetup and social event.

The details are below:

A social event at a bar to meet new and old friends.

Venue Brown Sugar - our venue for 2013

£5 for members and guests (except Altonative members)

If you have any questions don't hesitate to let me know

Host and Location Brownie

How it works:

London Black Professionals is a meetup group. We charge towards the snacks (£5)unless it is a ticketed event. You can pay online or when you arrive (don't make me hunt you down, come and find me)

We only choose venues that are in central London and are easy to get to.

It's a relaxed set up with you introducing yourself and mingling so you can come alone and meet new people or bring friends. It's up to you.

Happy for people to bring business cards and network of course but please no handing out of fliers for other events or heavy marketing / selling. It's a chance for people to get to know you not necessarily your business.

That's it. Have fun.

Nice spot, friendly people. Will be going again. My only comment would be that it was described as a meet and greet, but it was too loud to do that. May be better to arrange to meet at a quieter spot to have convo with members then move unto Brown Sugar for drinks and dancing. This was also the general concensus of others I met there. But overall it was cool.

I am unsure whether I can make it next week. How frequently does the Meet and Greet take place?

Hey guys. The 2013 release of Django Unchained and Lincoln still promote slavery like that is our only history. Well I would like to provide the other side of our story. I am a writer/publisher and today is the release of my first book 'Black Egyptians' by Segun Magbagbeola. I know this is a dating site, so I won't be too long, but I am sure you will love this and these are things they will never teach us in school or the media. You can get your copy here on Amazon.

Please promote to your family and friends and take a minute to visit my website to subscribe to my mailing list/FB/Twitter for more info. Thanks, Segun.
