Come along on Saturday 21st December to visit the Museum of Brands, Packaging and Advertising!

About the museum
It’s all here...the brands and packs, posters and adverts, fads and fashions, toys and games. Evocative and inspiring, it’s a kaleidoscope of images and iconic brands.

Featuring over 12,000 original items from the Robert Opie Collection, the Museum of Brands, Packaging and Advertising moved to London in 2005.

The history of consumer culture is revealed though household products and shopping basket favourites in a ‘time tunnel’, which charts a nostalgic journey from Victorian times to the present day.  Discover how well-loved brands evolved through their creative use of packaging and advertising, and how we evolved with them.

Group entry to the museum is £6.50 per person.

Afterwards, we will head to a local bar for a drink.

Look out for the group sign outside the station:

Hope to see you there!

Robert

First went a few years ago, the museum is like a Tardis - looks small on the outside, but is filled with over 13,000 items inside and we spent over 2 hours looking around.

Sorry I couldn't make it. I called and left a message that I had a deadline to meet at work and couldn't get away in time. As Ladbroke Grove is my old stomping ground, I really wanted to be on this tour. Hopefully it will be repeated in the future. Thanks for all your hard work arranging these tours. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and all Cultureseekers.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
