Deep in the jungles of Cambodia rural farmers and fishermen such as Sari Math are struggling to overcome the crushing effects of deforestation, overfishing, and overwhelming debt. Forced to make a decision between the beautiful lands they were raised in and moving closer to the cities for their families' survival, many rural Cambodians are in a no win situation.
Achieving a profound intimacy with her subjects, director Kalyanee Mam takes us on a cinematic and sensory journey through the devastation being wrought by Cambodia's rapid development.
Please Note: There will not be any adverts or trailers and the film will start promptly at 8.30pm.
