Best wishes,

Matt's message:

I am the coordinator of The London Film Network and I am creating a documentary about Live Action Role Play, its an idea I have had for a while and finally have the means to see it through. The documentary will be about modern day LARPing in Britain and the culture/ comparing geographical locations to the type of LARPing and evolution of LARPing, over 30-40 minutes in just a brief start up documentary.

I was wondering if any of your documentary group members would be interested in helping with this project? -I need collaborators who are used to documentary making, more so for research and camera work- I am looking to film this creatively with reenactments in first person, as if the audience is fighting through a battle etc, as well as interviews with experts and LARPers. - Mainly this will be in Hertfordshire and London. I would also like someone to help me outline the narrative and structure the documentary. Filming will be basically End of July until November and then picking up again in March, hoping to film tudor houses etc as well. I have a strong network who shall be crewing, so this will be a good joint project between the groups if you so wish- and I have a few industry contacts who have shown interest so it has some meat on the bone for future payed work. I would need about 4-five days filming commitment overall.

Kind Regards,

Matthew Critchfield
