Grey versus Red Squirrels Lecture

Every year Birkbeck College Ecology & Conservation Society holds two series of lectures on environmental and nature topics. Several IVC members have attended these for some years and have found them first rate. The theme of the next series is "Pressures on Wildlife - Conflicts and Ecological Debates." This friday's lecture will be "Invasive grey squirrels threaten red squirrels: can anything be done?" by Prof Gurnell, Queen Mary College, London.

We will meet up in the college cafe area from 6pm before going to the lecture and have a chat and a drink afterwards.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
