Event moved due forecast of bad weather.
I would like to thank those who attended the first photo walk meetup. It was successful and I am encouraged to plan the next one. The theme of the meetup is to do a photo walk and take lots of pictures, while learning the camera and its usage better in the process.
The second meetup will start from the London Bridge station and we will work our way around the river, cross the river over Tower Bridge and find a place to stop and review the pictures on the other side of the bridge.
Ideally, you need to have a DSLR camera for this or a bridge camera that allows you to do manual settings is good enough too. Compact cameras are not suitable for this photo walk.
The group will remain the same size of five. In this meetup we will discuss some further exposure theory and do low-light photography. That is why I have chosen the time from 2pm to 4m which is roughly the sunset time these days. For this photo walk you will also need a tripod. If you have DSLR then this is an accessory you should invest in. For the meetup you could buy a cheap one like this:
This meetup is suited to beginners and those who want to understand their DSLR cameras better. If you are an accomplished photographer you would have little to learn but may be you can teach us something.
Meeting point: We will meet at the Starbucks on the Tooley Street exit of the London Bridge station.
