What is your background in NIA? Do you take or give classes currently, and if yes, where?

I discovered Nia in 2006, when I was looking for dance classes for adults who were not necessarily dance educated and skilled. Nia gave me the space to move while both accepting my limitations and appreciating my strengths. In addition, in a Nia class I can be playful, expressive, make mistakes and laugh, connect with people and build strong relationships. Lifechanging, inspirational, and empowering, Nia teaches me to dance through life!

Now a Nia Black Belt teacher, I have been teaching Nia since 2007. As a movement therapist, I believe in the healing power of movement both for the body and the spirit. Dress silence with music, dress life with dance...
