Everyone seemed to have fun, I quite enjoyed hosting again for the first time in ages (sorry all!). Although poor Anastasiia didn't get a game of Avalon in because of Bijan, tut tut. A really nice night.

Super night as usual. Played Ra the non-dice game, Carcassonne: South Seas, Coup, Dixit and Marrakech plus a hidden gem in Dungeon Raiders which was great fun and a thank you to Peter who read through the rules on the spot and explained the game to us. Also an aborted Castle Of The Devil due to time constraints.

    Hi Lloyd,

I'd be up for PaxPo if there's space. Only played a couple of times, but happy to print myself some rules and refresh myself on them.

    Best Regards

So it's full... Does this make it impossible to turn up on a whim?

    January 23, 2014

    • Gabe C.

      Hi Alex,

Unfortunately, yes, we need to use RSVPs in order to avoid overcrowding. What I can say is people often de-RSVP the day of or before, so check frequently or add yourself to the waitlist.

I fondly remember turning up on a whim, years ago before we had so many members. That's why I've attended so few meetups officially.

Have to lug my 'work' laptop around, so I'll bring some smaller, card-based games. Maybe RftG, 6 Nimmt, Trieste - lets see what fits!

    January 24, 2014

  • Nick W.

Final selection I'll be bringing: Helvetia, Lewis and Clark, Avalon Resistance and the inevitable Love Letter

    January 20, 2014

    • Andrew D.

Yes though I've been playing lots of Caverna lately so may get puzzled by the lack of gold and rubies...

      January 23, 2014

    • Gabe C.

The lack of dwarves is OK though?

      January 23, 2014

  • george h.

    Anyone fancy playing Carcassonne?

    1 · January 20, 2014

    • george h.

I have the Count of Carcassonne expansion, its quite fun.

      January 21, 2014

    • Stuart (.

I'll probably bring the variants along such as Hunters & Gatherers, Ark Of The Covenant and South Seas.
