Tuesday night gaming

If you are new to London on Board check out this guide for new players. If you have any questions on the night or are having trouble getting into a game, then look out for the night's host, listed to the right.

If you plan on attending please RSVP. We only have 50 chairs and it gets uncomfortable for everyone if more people than that turn up. Similarly, please change your RSVP to no if it turns out you can't make it.

Big thanks to Danny for bringing Elder Sign, it was the best game I've played so far! Well, maybe contending with Lords of Waterdeep :)

A fistful of mostly new games for me: Libertalia (at last, and I was doing fine until the last round when I got reamed), Snowdonia (has the whiff of trains about it, but there's a nice rhythm to the game), a teaching game of Ticket to Ride Europe and finishing with Eat Poop You Cat. Good to see a bunch of new people along, hope we didn't scare you and you'll be back for more.

Anyone want to bring along Eldritch Horror? Jonathon and I both want to play this. I've played once before, great game.

We kicked Shub Niggoroth's ancient wrinkly butt. Well done guys.

Thanks guys, for putting up with me flitting in and out of the game. I really enjoyed that bit I actually contributed to (!) and glad to see the 'team' won out. Would deffo play again!

The evening inadvertently turned out to be all Carribean on the high seas themed.

Libertalia - Finally, got to try this. Ok, fun, quick, character selection game.

Francis Drake - Oh boy ... see reply to this.

Carribbean - Ok, light, quick, pure "programmed" blind bidding game.

Great night. Thanks Martin and Graham for the introduction to Puerto Rico. Hope everyone enjoyed Notre Dame. Will come back soon!

We couldn't fill your seat for PR, so your Tobbaco Empire was ditched and we kept going as a four ... Martin won PR in the end (as well as ND).

Haha - not so much evil genius just lucky on how things panned out with both games last night. A shame your tobacco empire couldn't carry on, it was doing well.Had a really good time; have just bought Notre Dame on BBG marketplace - lived up to my expectations last night, was really good.

sorry in the end I could not make it... too much work

    February 25, 2014

    Sorry folks.

  • Ronan

    Francis Drake anyone?

    February 24, 2014

    • Ronan

Yes mate but playing Deadwood first is now mandatory. For no good reason.

      February 25, 2014

    • Wayne

Unfortunately my boss unreasonably considers doing a full days work to be mandatory so I won't be there till gone 6. Don't know how long Deadwood takes, you might be better starting without me.

Betrayal at House on the Hill or Elder Sign?

      Would like to try BHH!

      February 25, 2014

    • Mike Q

BHH please :) I can teach it if needed.

I have Snowdonia and Stone Age with me

Hi folks. This will be my third time at LoB. From the Red Herring library, I'd love to try Puerto Rico, Tigris & Euphartes or Ra. Anyone happy to teach/host any of these? (NB - it'd be my first time with these games, so any volunteer teachers may have to be patient!)

In return, I'm happy to bring/teach/host Notre Dame if anyone's interested ...

    February 24, 2014

    • Graham M.

If you end up with a space in Notre Dame, it's one I would like to try.

      February 25, 2014

    • David K.

All good. Notre Dame plays up to 5, so it looks like we have a full table - me, Martin , Hans, Hans +1 and Graham. 6.15 start.

    Will bring Room 25.
