Monday night gaming

If you are new to London on Board check out this guide for new players. If you have any questions on the night or are having trouble getting into a game, then look out for the night's host, listed to the right.

If you plan on attending please RSVP. We only have 55 chairs and it gets uncomfortable for everyone if more people than that turn up. Similarly, please change your RSVP to no if it turns out you can't make it.

Bootleggers - Good fun. Great ending with major, jaw-dropping, broken deal, screwage deciding the winner.

Anyone interested in giving Arctic Scavengers a go? Deckbuilding with a chilly post-apocalyptic theme.

Yeah, good game! Wish I could've hung around for another...

Started with a quick game of Fields of Glory: The Card Game, which I miraculously won through a dubious rule involving light infantry and withdrawal. Onwards to Arctic Scavengers: my second game, and it keeps getting better, perhaps because I won this one:[masked], I believe the score was. Sniping is evil but effective.

But just found out that Fields of Glory was played with two key rules completely wrong (terrain going neutral after a retreat; only attackers get their card modifier), so I guess my victory doesn't count. Boo.

Anybody up for Bootleggers (new revised/expanded version)?

Lloyd interested in teaching me Town Centre? I bought it from Vika a while back but have not played it yet. Seems like the sort of game that is best taught by someone who knows it.

OK, I will have Trains, Fauna and Smash Up plus a few small games with me

Just saw this, sorry John. If you have it with you, I'll happily teach it.

We're bringing our unreleased 4-player card game Insane Robot Battle to LOB tonight! It's been played at events in London, Margate, Nottingham, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco so can't wait to try it out at The Red Herring. We'll be there from 6:30 and will bring 2 decks so up to 8 can play - let me know below if you are in.

I just bought Takenoko, but never played (I'm that kind of impulsive buyer). If I bring it, anyone would be interested in playing? And maybe teaching me :-S

Anyone feel like a light game of Pergamon or Keythedral? (a euro take on Catan, but with 'interaction'. Dickish, dickish interaction.)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
