Wednesday Gaming at The Mad Hatter

If you are new to London on Board check out this guide for new players. If you have any questions on the night or are having trouble getting into a game, then look out for the night's host, listed to the right.

If you plan on attending please RSVP. We only have 45 chairs and it gets uncomfortable for everyone if more people than that turn up. Similarly, please change your RSVP to no if it turns out you can't make it.

We won't have access to the games library so please bring games if you are able to.

Have fun.

Played Choas in the Old World and had a blast despite my poor gnurggle being unfairly picked on by my former friend the blood god! To be fair my inexperienced friend was led astray by the seductive tones of Ronan and zapped to my pestilence zones by the equally annoying Eric! Do you ever feel picked upon? What's a poor pestilence god to do?
Despite managing to roll several 6's and spreading what disease I could I failed to win against the rampant hordes and lost the war!

Finally got to play Alien Frontiers, though not with Simon. So, having enjoyed it, I must get a game in with Simon soon, because it seems a game that would be better (a lot quicker) if the players have a good idea how to play the game. A quick Perudo - a win with no loss of dice, yay! - and then another go at Timbuktu. Sorry, John, even with the right rules it's still not my kind of game. I did feel guilty about running away without helping to pack up, especially when I realised that the shop was open for an hour longer than I thought. D'oh! I'll know better next time.

Sorry for being a bit lax on the hosting front; got a bit wrapped up in my first game of Chaos in the Old World. Good fun, hope nobody felt left out! Perudo next, ended with Citadels.

Good, I don't need to read the rules if Eric is playing.

Good on Eric corrupting, Ronan blushing or Eric's devilish rule recital? :)

Chaos in the old world? Could Csilla or Russell bring?

    1 · June 1

    • Haakon

As far as I know Csilla Chaos is expansion free. Russel Chaos usually comes with rats.

I prefer to play without the rats myself (normally because I end up being the rat!), it just happens to be that 5 people want to play whenever I bring it!

Alien Frontiers, Simon, or will Chaos take you too long?

    June 1

  • Tom

Simon, I added you as host - hope it's not too short notice!

My girlfriend and I are visiting from California. We like light strategy games, have been having a blast with Rampage lately. Lords of Waterdeep is a favorite of hers, once she realized the theme was pasted on. I'll have my game "Hunt or Gather" along if anyone wants to playtest.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
