Sunday Gaming at The Hoop & Grapes

**CHANGE OF VENUE**

Apologies but we were double booked at The Mad Hatter so we have had to find an alternative venue for the day. We are heading to The Hoop & Grapes. This has a much reduced capacity at the moment but please do join the waitlist if you can not get in yet as we may get last minute access to another room.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

Please bring games if you can and have fun.

Many thanks to Vika being an organised person who discovered the kitchen was closed and checked that we were able to bring in food because of this.

Ed, did you mean to say thanks for performing hostly duties instead of you? ;)

      Excellent delegation Ed, well done.

So many games that I'm genuinely struggling to remember them all ... Thanks to everyone involved!

Knackered. Did I really game for nearly eleven hours? Thought I had peaked after Jenga but managed to find the willpower for a third game of Lords Of Waterdeep.

Damn, I just realized I am off the wait list heading out ASAP.

    June 22

  • Simon D.

Alex, if you will have your copy of Trains with you (and if you manage to finish Eclipse with time to spare), I'd be up for giving it a shot. I'm also keen to try Arctic Scavengers, if anyone might happen to bring that along ...

Grr. I will be about 20 minutes late. A pox on the District Line!

      June 22

    • Alex W.

Due to an unexpected mid-morning realisation that I had nothing to wear this week, I will be there at 1 rather than my originally anticipated arrival time of 12.

      June 22

  • Stuart (.

With the change of venue is the start time still 12? Normally weekenders start at 11 but the Mad Hatter hotel (our original venue) bumps us to 12 to accommodate breakfast for its guests.

    June 22

    • Ronan

It starts at 12. Most pubs open at 12 on a Sunday. The Old Star was a bit of an anomaly.

      Okay, I see. Thanks.

I'll be your host on Sunday, come and find me if you have any questions or need any help.

      Fancy a game of imperial?

      June 21

    • Edward M.

Sure, maybe not immediately as hosting takes precedence but definitely up for a game.

Anyone up for a game of Spartacus?
    3-4 spots open

Absolutely no clue if I'll get off the list, but if I do, I'd hop in.

Just got a copy of Netrunner - anyone interested in learning it with me, or even teaching a newbie?

    June 15

    • david

Thanks guys. Peter also pointed out that there is an entire meetup group for netrunner. I'll check that out as I can't stay all day on Sunday. Have fun tho!

      June 17

    • Jason H.

I often bring Netrunner to play in the evening. Always keen to play more, been working on some new decks just using the core set.

Folks, we have both upstairs rooms for the whole day. As we haven't been to this venue before please be friendly and helpful to each other in case of any teething problems. I will try to find an awesome host for the day. Thanks.

Ronan, are you wanting to play Freedom Railroad on the Sunday? I don't see your name on the list?

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
