Fair Play: guidelines for the members of London On Board

RSVP:
You are requested to RSVP for the events that are organised by London On Board. This helps in organising each event, as it determines how many games need to be brought along, and in some cases, which games are wanted. Even if you can't attend, it is very helpful to RSVP 'No', since it also keeps you updated on the site, and shows you still have an interest in the group.

For most events, 'Maybe' RSVP's are allowed. However, you are requested to change your 'Maybe' RSVP to a 'Yes' or a 'No' RSVP up to 24 hours before the event. Also, if you have a need to change your RSVP from a 'Yes' to a 'No', or vice versa, you are requested to do this up to 24 hours before the event. If you can't (and we do know that sometimes things just happen), try notifying the Organiser by e-mail or by phone.

If you haven't RSVP'ed (for whatever reason), it doesn't mean you aren't welcome. You can still show up for the event. However, you have to consider that the event may be full, or that other arrangements have been made that don't include you.

Attendance:
Although we don't want to keep a strict register of who is there and who is not (we're not a secondary school), we do expect people who RSVP'ed 'Yes' to attend. Should we notice that someone RSVP's 'Yes' regularly, and then doesn't attend (and doesn't give any other notification either), then the membership of that person may be terminated.

Anybody who hasn't attended an event for 6 months or more, will be asked to reconsider their membership. If there is still no attendance one month after that, membership will be automatically terminated.

Membership fee:
The embership fee of £2.50 p.a is currently in abeyance and the group Meetup fees are paid by BoardGameGuru


Fun:
All members of London On Board are expected to have fun. In case people do not have fun, they are requested to contact the Organiser, possibly with suggestions for improvement.
