Hi Guys,

My first post on here so excuse me if this is against the normal etiquette for job postings! Ian Bailey kindly directed me in the direction of this site. Thanks Ian!

I currently have an incredible opportunity within one of the world leaders in business intelligence and business analytics. Based in their Liverpool Street office you will play an integral part in building and developing an advanced free text analysis tool.

This is a hands on development role aimed at producing industry leading solutions for a range of text processing applications such as; deriving intelligence from open source content on the Internet, to specialist structured data extraction from large sets of text documents. The role involves a range of project work including prototyping, potentially client site work as well as creating pre-bundled sector and problem specific applications and prototypes. This solution is being directed towards the banking, finance and insurance industries initially.

Experience in the majority should include:
- Java
- Webapp creation and deployment in App Servers
- HTML 5 (or willing to learn)
- XML and freetext processing using Java
- Code control environments and IDE's (e.g Eclipse)
- Javascript
- XML
- Semantic
- Familiarity with text indexing and search engines such as Lucene
