The Salesforce community has over 800,000 developers worldwide and is rapidly growing. The community includes Heroku, force.com, data.com, site.com and all the platforms in the Salesforce ecosystem that support developers enjoy rapid, scalable application development.
This meetup group is part of that community, allowing developers to get together and discover great development practices, get to grips with new features, give feedback on APIs & the development experience. By doing things together the potential for learning is far greater.
So, in the best traditions, this community is driven by its members for the benefit of its members. So if you want to speak about projects you have worked on, want to host a meetup, tell people about blogs you have written, highlight your repositories on github, then let the community know.
The community organisers (Wes Nolte & John Stevenson) are here to help make things happen, its our members that shape what we do, so if you want to do something please let us know.
