Kennington Bioscope

The Bioscope is a very special silent film event that takes place at the Cinema Museum about every fortnight.

Its your chance to see rarely shown silent films with expert piano accompaniment from the marvellous resident pianists, John Sweeny, Cyrus Gabrysch and Lillian Henley.

Admission is free (but with a requested minimum £2 donation to the Cinema Museum on arrival).

They do not usually announce the films in advance, so its a surprise on the night. Recent screenings have included Clara Bow in Mantrap and Oliver Hardy as a villainous fugitive in No Man's Law.

However, I know what the next film will be and its a cracker! Come along and you will not be disappointed.

The next screening is on March 26th when it will be "Musicians Choice" featuring a very special guest pianist, Costas Fotopoulos

To reserve a place please email [masked].
