London Songwriters is a non-profit group dedicated to the joy of songwriting and the development of the craft. Membership is free and open to songwriters / composers / lyricists - of all levels of musical skill, style, and songwriting experience - within reach of the capital.

We usually meet on the second Sunday afternoon of every month in Central London to collaborate, network, share our songs, exchange critical feedback, and make new like-minded friends. There is a nominal charge to cover costs, such as venue hire, stationery, meetup.com fees etc. but events are occasionally free if costs are already covered.

The group is very supportive and has been described by newcomers as “very welcoming” and akin to a “family”. Members are encouraged to attend meetings whether they wish to play or not. As a collective, we offer support and encouragement for each others’ songwriting activities, including collaboration and exchange of current information relating to the industry. A friendly community of songwriters, from hobbyists to professionals.
