Founder and CEO of Busuu: Bernhard Niesner

How to grow a business to over 35 million users?  Entrepreneurs and startups have a hard time to take their business off the ground. Their biggest problem often is acquiring customers. And the second problem is showing a steady growth. Bernhard has solved both big problems with Busuu. He and his team has built it into world's largest social network for language learning with over 35 million users. He loves sharing his knowledge and is frequently invited to speak at several international conferences about edtech and entrepreneurship such as DLD, Webit Congress, Noah Conference, SIME etc.

Bernhard agreed to share with us his incredible entrepreneurial journey. By the way, he is also constantly looking out for smart, ambitious and interesting talent who want to join his exciting venture!

Excellent event. Very well hosted by Marian who also did a super job as interviewer and Bernhard had some great insights to tell us as well as some frank and honest lessons to teach us. And to top it off, made some great new contacts during the networking afterwards. Looking forward to the next one.
