I have gone to a lot of talks and think it was a bit light on substance and tangible take-aways about how to really start a retail business. Most if not all of us that attended will not have the ability to leverage a successful modelling or acting career in order to create a brand and I think her experience was very much a function of her previous celebrity status.

Although she has achieved success there was little that I can say that I learned from the event or any strategy that was given that could help in my own business. I understand that business for anyone is tough but to discount that it is harder for some than others I think isn't really realistic.

Tonight Caprice will talk about how she landed a huge deal with Debenhams and why she wasn't happy with it. She will talk about her journey of starting a company in an attractive, but very saturated fashion industry. Got a question? Ask here: http://sli.do/sgl
