Come along on Saturday 20th July for a tour round the Theatre Royal Haymarket!
About the theatre
The Theatre Royal Haymarket, known originally as ‘The Little Theatre in the Hay’, is a Grade I listed building situated in the heart of the West End. Designed and constructed by John Potter in 1720 it is one of Britain’s most treasured theatres. The theatre seats 893 patrons and is the third oldest London Playhouse still in use.
Both Henry Fielding (Tom Thumb, The Historical Register) and Henry Carey staged their plays here.
The Theatre Royal Haymarket Company was set up in 2007 and has since produced some of the theatre’s most successful productions including Waiting for Godot and Flare Path.
We will be having a private 2 hour tour. Cost is £10 per person.
We are limited to the numbers we can bring and can only do one tour per day, but if you can't get on, we are repeating it.
