Come along on Saturday 22nd March at 1:45pm for a visit to Highgate Cemetery.
About the Cemetery
The cemetery opened in 1839 and is known for it's ornate Victorian architecture, it's the burial place of some very famous people, notably Karl Marx, physicist Michael Faraday and John & Elizabeth Dickens, parents of Charles and models for Micawber and Mrs Nickleby.
We will be visiting the east cemetery only.
Group entry is £4 per person and includes a map. The visit is self guided and we will split you into small groups to explore the cemetery together.
Afterwards we will head to the Star pub, 47 Chester Road for a chat over a drink.
