Get ready for Lambdas - new Collections classes from Goldman Sachs

Donald Raab will cover the latest developments in the GS Collections framework which has been developed over the past 9 years at Goldman Sachs and which is now open sourced on GitHub (

GS Collections has a very rich and fluent API that developers can take advantage of today in Java 5 – 7.  The addition of lambdas in Java 8 will make the APIs even more fun and productive to use.

Donald has over 20 years of software development experience, with companies including IBM and Goldman Sachs. Don coded for seven years professionally in the Smalltalk programming language, which formed a solid base for understanding Collections and Closures.

Please provide your full name when your RSVP for Goldman Sachs building security.
