Where did you hear about this group?

people from work, and meetup.com

How long have you been developing with Java?

I started about 9 years ago (even I'm surprised its that long!), and had some years in the wilderness where I mostly did C#, but came back to java about 4 years ago.

What are your favourite technologies at the moment?

Current toy of choice is webgl, and I've been making something that creates a (ropey!) visualisation based on some apis we aggregate in work. The backend bits of this are python (flask/werkzeug) based, and running on heroku... but I basically like learning anything new + shiny (java-wise I've recently been playing with guava + some futures-based stuff)

Would you be interested in hearing about any new Java permanent or contract positions at present? (if yes please add which would be of more interest)

No, I'm not looking for a new job right now.

Introduction

Hi there, I'm a London-based dev, and I write a lot of java so I figured it made sense to check this out! I've been meaning to join for ages but wanted to come to the nosql thing tomorrow so finally got round to filling this out :)
