Where did you hear about this group?

I'm using grails for a personal project and I can say I am really fond of it. Reading Peter Ledbrook's blog for some information about the framework, he talked about this group in one of his posts. I thought that the group itself was a great idea and that since I was moving to London I could contribute to it.

How long have you been developing with Java?

I have been developing with Java for five years. Initially I programmed desktop applications with Swing, just recently I have had a project for an Eclipse plugin and I have beginning to be interested in the power provided by Groovy and Grails.

What are your favourite technologies at the moment?

Groovy and Grails are the ones that have attracted my attention lately. Also Spring as a really powerful platform specially in combination with Hibernate. Scala is the really attractive language that I wanna learn at some point.

Would you be interested in hearing about any new Java permanent or contract positions at present? (if yes please add which would be of more interest)

Yes, I would be interested specially in permanent entry-level java developer positions.

Introduction

I am a Spanish Java Developer really excited about moving to London next september and willing to meet other members of the Java Community. Going to London will allow me to combine my interest for living abroad and my passion for programming.
