+1 for ReviewBoard

Hello Kim,

Despite I recognize the various qualities of Atlassian tools, I prefer separate tools instead.

Code management and bug tracking :: Mantis :: http://mantisbt.org.
Code review :: ReviewBoard :: http://www.reviewboard.org/
Wiki ::  Mediawiki :: http://www.mediawiki.org
CI ::  Jenkins :: http://jenkins-ci.org
Artifact repository : Artifactory :: http://jfrog.org

Regarding integration, I have all of these above (except ReviewBoard, which I do not use at the moment) sharing the same user base via LDAP. What is missing in this scenario is a self registration servlet. If you need this, please let me know. It can be done with some Mediawiki tweaking.

I prefer to take the approach of 'best in the category' than trying to find a suite which does what I need, the way I need.

A suites is like a duck: a duck walks, a duck swims, a duck flies.... and does everything bad. :)

I hope you find these ideas useful somehow.
Or at least enjoyed the joke :)

Cheers

Richard Gomes

Hi

We're looking at setting up a nice new development and deployment process and I am evaluating different tools to use in our Agile[ish] environment.

We need:
- project management + bug tracking
- code review
- ci
all hooked in and integrated together along with a vcs (ideally git or svn).  The most obvious solution is the Atlassian set with JIRA w/ Greenhopper, Crucible etc.

Does anyone have any personal recommendations of toolsets that work well together and are nice to use?

I'd appreciate any feedback - even if it's "Don't use XYZ! It's a nightmare!"

Thanks,
Kim
