You offer your opinion of what is better, but you give no argument to
support that opinion. It's fine if you don't want to argue (it can be
a tiresome discussion...), but then you must realize you are not
supporting you opinion. Note that we are not just talking about
personal preference here, I did make an objective point in my blog
post about text-based editors.

And who is "we"?...
