What constitutes "true belief", and why should that be necessary in order to reap the advantages of Agile development?

Not having seen Ben's talk I'm somewhat at a loss for context...

Just for curiosity, why do you believe in the Agile method?

Thanks to Mani for pointing me to Ben's Fenymann talk at http://www.infoq.com/presentations/Feynman-Way.

And thank you to Ben Evans for say "I've never been a true believer in the Agile method."

I want to echo what he said for my self: "I don't believe in the Agile method."

I feel much better for that.  Is there anybody else out there who wants to join the heresy?
