I'll add to this that it's really easy to add the latest Java build as an extra matrix build item or slave build item for you CI server (e.g. Jenkins/Team City/Travis etc).  To make this even easier for folks we're looking to provide some simple tutorials, contributions are welcome!

Join the adoptopenjdk.java.net project and mailing list to get involved.

Cheers,

Hi All,

A number of you have attended the OpenJDK TestFest earlier this year:

There's possible plans to host more of these this year and/or next. But the million dollar question is what aspects of Java would you like to test, write tests for to validate a feature or functionality? For e.g. the DateTime classes or certain types in the Collections class, etc.... - have you come across anything thats worth testing during your daily work or hobby projects that is worth exploring.

Here's a link to the JDK 8 EA:
https://jdk8.java.net/download.html

We want your help to investigate and unearth any bugs in the an EA release.

Any feedback on this topic will be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

Regards,
mani
