Fwd: Testing User Code in Java 8

From: Martijn V.

Hi all,

This is a massive opportunity to really help out everyone in the world who uses Java in some way (that would be Billions of us).

If you have a spare couple of hours today, this weekend or early next week *please* add Java 8 as an extra build in your Jenkins/Hudson set-up.  It would be great if you posted to [address removed] when you've got it up and running!

See Richard's blog post below for a simple tutorial on how to do this.

One of the things I've been hearing quite a few comments in the run up to the Java 8 release is the goal of trying to get more end user applications to be tested using Java 8.  I've written up a blog post on a fairly easy approach to doing this using a CI server.
