I too thought this was a useful article. I'd like to know how you decide who to give the small piece of work to in order to test them?
 
How do you pin point the one or even two people in the first place?
 
I guess the smaller the role, (in terms of pay or time or qualification), the less you can afford to spend on long interviews.

I read this article and wanted to find out if developers felt the same way about interviews and the recruitment process for hiring developers.
