Thanks everyone for the advice, it is very helpful. My cv grew a page from adding more work experience info, I will probably slim it down again by cutting down my education section.

Cheers,
Jon

When hiring, I definitely like to see what degree a candidate has along with the result, though not necessarily much detail about the degree. I don't find results from earlier schooling interesting though.

Cheers,
Jan

Hi all,

I have almost 6 years experience as a Java developer and I still put my university, A-level and even some gcse results on my cv. However recently I interviewed some contractors with over 10 years experience and they simply mentioned that they had a degree, not even giving the grade that they got. I would like to know, what do people think is best at certain milestones eg 5, 10 years in terms of the level of detail when describing your education on a cv?

Cheers,
Jon
