I release this is a Java list (and I don't want to start a flame war) but Learning Concurrency In Scala is an excellent book IMHO. I read the Goetz Java book mentioned already recently and this book, for me, picks up where the other left off.

Obviously it is Scala specific but the JVM and the JMM are common, obviously, so it may be worth a read.
