This is our first get together so... we will keep it very informal!
To start the evening two projects will be presented:
1. The Quipu Project - by Chaka Film - A transmedia documentary project that aims to collect and share the stories of those affected by the sterilization policy which targeted over 300,000 indigenous women without their consent applied in Peru in the late 90s.
2. The Global People Project - by Hugh Lewis and Helen Wright - An "open documentary" to raise awareness and promote a better understanding of ourselves and others in a global context.
Those two projects are still very much in production! So what will be shared is where they are at, which issues they are facing, with the aim of creating a healthy discussion - and hopefully some solutions!
But really... the aim of this first session is to learn to know each other and to build together an agenda that can serve your actual production needs. Do you need to test new methods to do UX in your narrative projects, are you missing coders, funding, team members? What are the most valuable topics that we could address to help each other in our projects?
We are super open to propositions and do not want to impose schedules to the event. Come and give your input!
And after... we can continue at the local pub if you are up for it!
