Come let's explore the ancient soul of London dripping in a rich and often bloody history: hear about Criminal Court of the Old Bailey, churches going back to the 11th century, synagogues, Smithfield’s market where William Wallace 'Braveheart' was hung drawn and quartered.
Plus... The Old city walls and amphitheatre of Roman times, Bow Bells of Cockney fame, charming Guildhall home of local government for 800 years, infamous Cock lane, modern Barbican Centre, 15th century Fortune Theatre and much much more....phew!
