Join Michael and Simon’s guided walk around this feature packed elegant area: 20+ stops, hear the stories behind famous and secret sites. We like to pack stuff in.
Stops include: Fitzroy Tavern where writers and artists such as George Orwell & Dylan Thomas hung out, pass the house where a certain Herr Hitler stayed with his Irish wife, feel you're in the 1850s in the wonderful old umbrella shop James Smith & sons, admire Hawksmoor's churches, Charles Dickens museum, hear about the touching Foundling Museum where poor mothers abandoned their babies plus elegant Bloombury, Russell and Brunswick squares and gardens. Lastly UCL and SOAS colleges.
....after all that we'll relax and socialise at the tastiest best value Pizza in London.
Meet: Just outside Goodge Street tube station, (Northern line).
Finish: Near Russell Square tube around 4pm.

Please note: We'll be there 10 minutes early, try to be on time, but if you're running late our first stop is Fitzroy square off Tottenham Ct Rd.
