Dancer in low light.

I have been working on a series of long exposure dancer portraits with both mixed lighting and multiflash.  I finally feel I am ready to host a small group to learn about mixed lighting and long exposure movement.

What you will need

• Camera

• Working Hot Shoe - standard

• Tripod is a necessity for this workshop, shutter-speeds will be 2 seconds or more and the camera needs to be still.

• shutter release cable is very useful for this as you will shoot in bulb mode and need to time the release to coincide with the dancers movements.  The cable will help avoid shaking the camera.

• Know how to set your camera to rear shutter sync.  Don't know what it is, you will by the end of the workshop.

This is what we will be striving for.

I'd love to go, but I've got an executive meeting that night for a non-profit I work with. :(

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
