Cork is a premier, full-service retail store featuring eclectic wines and beers from around the world.
Cork was the first wine store to install tasting stations where customers can sample 48 different wines before purchasing. While tasting, customers can record and share their tasting notes on the interactive kiosks at each station. This way, they never need to remember the name or vintage of a particular wine they've tried. Very cool! Plus you get to taste some very expensive wines. Beer is also available if you're not really into wines but would like to join us.
Here's what you do:
1. Get a Cork card at the front, put some $ on the card so you can try featured wines.
2. Browse the wines and choose which one you would like to try a sample (from $2.00 to $7.00 depending on the price of the bottle) or a glass ($5+).
3. Not sure what to try? Tap on the screen and read about each wine or ask the staff what they recommend. They are very friendly and willing to help.
4. After you receive your wine, find a place to lounge. Enjoy!
They also offer a menu of small plates/appetizers. However, we'll probably get a bite to eat afterward at a local restaurant.
I just need to know how many are coming so I can save some spots.
Free parking is available along the street.
